Environmental Policy

As of 2025, Şafak Elektrik continues its operations under TORK Bağlantı Elemanları A.Ş., adopting TORK Bağlantı Elemanları’s approach to quality, sustainability, and environmentally responsible manufacturing. The company remains firmly committed to environmental protection and the efficient use of natural resources. In this regard, within the framework of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System principles:

  • Comply with legal and customer requirements;
  • Make every effort to minimize air, water, and soil pollution;
  • Use energy, raw materials, and natural resources effectively and efficiently;
  • Plan activities to mitigate climate change and protect biodiversity and ecosystems;
  • Reduce waste at the source, recover and recycle waste wherever possible, and dispose of non-recoverable waste without harming the environment;
  • Consider environmental aspects during the design of new products and processes and minimize their environmental impacts;
  • Organize training and awareness activities for company employees and suppliers to increase environmental awareness;
  • Commit to continuously improving the Environmental Management System to enhance environmental performance.
